…Until we close on the house that is. Far from the starter home of my dreams, we have managed to get everything finalized and locked in for purchase of a modest, yet beautiful 12 year old townhome in Thurmont, MD.

I say far from the starter house of my dreams because being a midwest-bred country boy at heart; I was always hoping for a single family property with some land! However we’ve assimilated enough into this east coast culture to know we kinda had to change those dreams. All in all though we definitely found something to love in this place and can’t wait to move in!

It’s 1300 sq. ft with a small backyard, 3 bedrooms and a HUGE master bedroom & living room. Also has an attic whick I hope to God we can convert to a loft for my office someday. Otherwise it sits in a nice little community AWAY FROM THE HIGHWAY unlike the apartment we’re in right now, the town is nice, small and quiet and the drive to work is 60 times saner than anyone else who commutes via I-270.
